2.Tulum Ruins, Turtles in Akumal and Cenote tour

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 1,706 reviews · 8 hours (approx.) · from $129

Tulum ruins, turtle snorkeling in Akumal Bay, and a freshwater cenote swim with tacos and hotel pickup for one smooth full day.

“You need to be able to swim and traverse the uneven paths. The ruins have many steps, some of it is ok for a scooter, but walking is involved. At the beach a boat will take you out to a destination and drop you off. A person SHOULD know how to swim even though life jackets are provided. You are not allowed to use fins/flippers. The swimming portion is a smaller group than other companies so you are able to enjoy seeing the turtles w/o fear of being kicked by others. The lunch is very good. It was fresh and delicious for our taste. Sophia and Edgar were excellent hosts.”

This was one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had, nothing like it in Australia, an absolute MUST!”

We got a delicious traditional lunch when we got there after which we went into the park. Jenny knew everything about the history and the animals in the park and explained it with a lot passion. The lazy river and spotting crocodiles and manatees were the highlights of the tour. Exploring this park with a guide and no one else in sight was an experience never to forget. Thank you Jenny en George!”

“This tour was amazing. Only 4 of us so it felt like a private tour. Mildred and Ricky were great guides. I loved the opportunity to see the cenotes off the beaten path, and the food there was amazing. The sea turtle location was incredibly crowded with other tours and we couldn’t even rent a locker. Mildred had to hunt down a life vest for 2 of us and there was a lot of just wait time. But it was worth it to see and swim with turtles in the wild.”
